Mike has over 35 years of corporate tax experience working for a Big 4 Accounting Firm and companies in the financial services and technology industries. He most recently led the global tax function for Nasdaq, Inc for 16 years. His experience includes extensive interaction with senior management, board of directors, business, finance, legal and regulatory personnel, tax advisors, and governmental tax agencies.

Mike’s areas of corporate tax expertise include mergers and acquisitions, strategies to reduce worldwide cash taxes and the effective tax rate, analysis of tax opportunities/implications associated with proposed business planning actions, accounting for income taxes, and federal, state & local and international direct/indirect tax compliance.

In Mike’s mergers and acquisitions experiences he has performed due diligence, reviews of purchase and sale agreements, analyses of tax implications of transactions, implementation of post-transaction tax-efficient legal entity structures, and transition/integration of tax functions.

Mike is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York, and holds a B.B.A. in Public Accounting and a M.S. in Taxation from Pace University.
