Jason specializes in advising private equity, infrastructure funds, and corporate clients on numerous tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions including reorganizations, acquisition and disposition planning, cross border investments, repatriations and tax modelling.
Jason’s clients cover a broad range of industries that include renewables, infrastructure, fiber networks, manufacturing, distribution, construction, transportation, business services, telecommunications, and financial services.
Jason also has extensive experience advising private equity clients on domestic and cross-border transactions involving tax due diligence, tax structuring and tax/financial modeling. He has also advised clients on multi-national investments including a wide variety of tax aspects including tax efficient financing structures, foreign tax credit planning, local country tax planning, and transfer pricing.
Prior to being a Managing Director at Leo Berwick, Jason worked at a global law firm and a Big Four accounting firm where he focused on the tax aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions.
Jason holds a B.A from Columbia College, and a J.D. and LLM in Taxation from the University of Florida.
