Bill is a Partner in Leo Berwick’s Renewable Energy practice.
During his 29 years of professional experience, Bill has worked extensively with tax equity investors, project sponsors and syndicators on the monetization of over $20 billion of renewable energy, low-income housing and historic tax credits. Bill’s areas of focus include federal and state tax credits, transaction structuring and diligence, development and review of tax equity financial models (including GAAP accounting under HLBV) and strategic business planning.
Prior to joining Leo Berwick, Bill led the tax equity practice and was the ESG Tax Leader for the Americas and EMEA regions at a Big 4 firm. Bill has also been the CFO of two wind development companies, and a founding member of the renewable energy practice of a Top 20 accounting firm. Bill is a frequent speaker on tax and accounting topics in the renewable energy industry.
