Leo Berwick is looking for a Business Development Director to join our growing team.

- You will be responsible for supporting our business development initiatives.
- Your role will involve attending conferences, roadshows, and marketing campaigns while also sourcing, managing, and organizing leads to ensure no business opportunity is missed.
- You will work closely with our social media, branding, and leadership teams to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and support upper management in maintaining seamless client communication.

Responsibilities:
Business Development and Lead Management
- Source, manage, and organize leads and business development opportunities for the firm.
- Build relationships with potential clients and outside partners through regular touchpoints, emails, phone calls, and scheduling in-person meetups when our teams are in the same city.
- Expand existing client relationships through consistent value-add contact and identifying cross-selling opportunities
- Support upper management in maintaining client communication, ensuring no lead falls through the cracks.
- Innovate and improve the lead management process, bringing fresh ideas to enhance efficiency.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials needed for various client interactions
- Attend and support in-person conferences, roadshows and other marketing events.
- Provide regular updates and reports on lead management
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and potential clients at events.
- Develop and implement strategies to connect with event attendees and create ecosystems for on-going engagement.
- Coordinate follow-up activities post-events to maintain engagement and build long-term relationships.
- Manage key relationships with trade publications, coordinating interviews and sharing relevant Leo Berwick news for distribution
- Provide regular updates and reports on event performance, lead management, and social media metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in event marketing, and business development.
- Proven track record of successfully managing business leads and a sales funnel.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Proficiency in marketing tools, and CRM systems.
- Ability to travel extensively and attend on-site events.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
