Leo Berwick is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team and support our Partners.

  • Have strong writing skills; you are adept at formatting, proof-reading, and write in a clear and organized fashion

Responsibilities:

  • Act as key administrative support for up 3 Senior Leaders and their teams
  • Assist with creating proposals, contracts, invoices and billing
  • Support building out the scope of work and engagement set up on various and simultaneous projects
  • Review memos and presentations to update formatting, ensuring all documents are client ready
  • Pro-actively review and download client information from data rooms or other sources needed for your team to meet their deliverables
  • Review and manage several inboxes
    • Know what was sent and ensure all follow ups are appropriately scheduled and met
    • Prioritize incoming items, creating summaries of key activities for each partner
    • Creating calendar meetings for corresponding activities
    • Ensuring collateral is available for meetings and Partners are briefed in advance
  • Support in organizing events and conferences, this can include coordinating travel, submitting expenses, booking spaces and shipping materials among other duties
  • Occasional on-site responsibilities at our Downtown Toronto office
  • Ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a fast-paced administrative role
  • Experience with a start-up organization
  • Expert level Microsoft skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A self-starter who is comfortable working remotely and in an unsupervised environment
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Experience working at a professional services organization is an asset
